Natural Bridges

Natural Bridges State Park in Santa Cruz is a haven for overwintering Western monarchs and the final destination point for MWS. It's the location where I got the inspiration to do this project in the first place. Here I am thinking through considerations and plans for the trip. Since I recorded this in July, I've modified the route to reflect further research I've done that points to the Central Valley, the Sierra Foothills, Central Oregon, and the Columbia Plateau as migratory monarch hotspots. I'll be starting the trip in Spokane, WA in just a few days!
