Kail Road

Here in Tieton, Mike and Connie graciously offered to host me and invited me to plant seeds on their 4-acre property. Mike is spearheading a multi-year planting project to restore this land to its native shrub steppe ecosystem. We sowed milkweed around a patch of native grasses and I did a morning guitar improv. After the performance, Mike said he especially noticed the bird chirps while I was playing. I love how the context of a musical performance in environmental space can perk our ears up in unexpected ways. Thanks for having me, Mike and Connie!
