Flathead Conservation District (2)

I sowed milkweed seeds here in autumn of 2020, and had not returned since then. I was delighted to discover that my little milkweed patch had been preserved and tended by the employees of the Flathead Conservation District in their native plant garden. When I returned I found a patch of several dozen flourishing milkweed plants, several of which were tall and in full bloom. I played a celebratory little pocket trumpet melody for the milkweed... it feels great to see it growing tall and happy after 3 years!
